Have Bike Will Travel Guest Blog

I received an email from long time friend Shuey. You’ve seen his contributions to the blog before . You might remember his most viewed post of the Barred Owl ? from 2012. Here’s what he sent .

Ruth,
Picked up a used motorcycle today in Tucson Arizona. It’s the same make and model as the first one I had, 2007 Honda ST 1300.

Left Tucson today on road to VanHorn, Texas. About three hours before getting to VanHorn, while going through El Paso, I looked left to change lanes and was stunned at seeing this rainbow. Managed to pull over safely and snapped this pic, it was beautiful. About 10 miles before arriving at VanHorn, the sun was setting, and I managed to get a snap of this part of it. Hope your day went well. Mine is great.
Shuey

Thanks Shuey for sharing your stunning photographs.

Lanyard Lace Wrap

This bicycle is wrapped in the type of plastic lace we used to make lanyards at summer camp or at the end of the school year.

Similar to yarn bombing?

(Well some necessary words to give credit to the artist and creator )

“The metal bike racks were designed by Millvale-based graphic designer Tom Walker and built by Geoff Blanchard of Red Star Ironworks, also in the borough. The circular design shows open books of shrinking size nested inside each other.”
