Seems the jet lag hit last night but after a good nine hours of sleep, I’m back. you know the feeling when you’re not sure of the day of the week, the date or the time?

The family is in town for the Head of the Ohio Regatta Three Rivers Rowing Association sponsored by UPMC.
Go Michael!
“The race begins upstream from downtown Pittsburgh at Washington’s Landing and ends 3.2 miles downstream at Point State Park”
First weekend of October, the Head of the Ohio Regatta hosted by Three Rivers Rowing Association and sponsored by UPMC.
The starting point was Washington’s Landing and the 3.2 mile race ended at the Point where the Allegheny River meets the Monongahela River and forms the Ohio River.
Grandson Michael was in the novice class. He’s in back seat in the 4 man boat. Unfortunately his 8 man boat was unable to race but we photographed his Olentangy Rowing Club teammates in their 8 man boat.
First two photos are taken near the Mazeroski Statue by PNC Park.
Vantage Point for 8 man boats was the Sixteenth Bridge above the Allegheny River.
Sunday morning I met my friend and her son to photograph his senior pictures at the boathouse where he rows.
It was foggy and felt like fall.
I could hear a tugboat chugging along the river but could just make out the lights. Not even an outline.
Then as the time passed the bridge was visible and the fog burned off. It was a beautiful morning.
Getting down to the river.
Pretty thick fog.
You can see the lights of the boat.
Can’t see the bridge
