The scent of Hyacinth smells like Easter to me. I wouldn’t want to wear it as a perfume, though.
I’d thought it a female name but looked up Hyacinth in Greek Mythology and discovered he was killed by the bounce of a discus, attributed to Zephyr blowing on it.
Hyacinth – a breath of Spring and seem easily identified, even if you were blindfolded.
Could you distinguish the difference between – a lily, narcissus and hyacinth with just your olfactory sense?

About 5 years ago, my friend Lara E. framed the poem in the newspaper, adding the crayon paper peelings around it. Last night at my final video class I scanned it and uploaded it to the blog while I waited for the screening to start. This years crop yielded lots of crayons. The most whole crayons at the end of the year are violet ones.
