White Flowers Found on Clintonville Walk

A Six Word Saturday

The nice thing about white flowers is they can be seen even at dusk.

What Does a Dog Think About?

What does a dog think about?

Henry and Josie, the Airedales, were in the driveway when I was getting out of my car the other morning. They looked like they were thinking deeply about something.

Here’s Henry contemplating his shadow.

A dog across the street? The weather? Breakfast?

Let the day begin.

A Blanket, A Pillow, A Chair

You can drape a blanket over the back of a chair or two, add a pillow in the floor. Enter the tent you’ve created.

Magical half light.

Accompanied by a soft, huggable toy bear. Liftoff to space. A cabin in the woods. A racecar or castle. Whatever, wherever you wish it to be.

Lady Slippers in Bloom

Lady Slippers, cypripedium reginae, are rare these days. These were seen in the woods at Fallingwater in the Laurel Highlands while on a Landscape Hike with the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy on Members’s Day. I was invited to be a guest of Erika’s Uncle Larry, who is an enthusiastic environmentalist, and shared a wonderful day at the Barn at Fallingwater with his family.

Forbes Digital Plaza at Bouquet Street

I was parked at the curb. Thought I was hearing an electronic musician.   When I saw the huge screen I had to

get out of the car and document what turned out to be Forbes Digital Plaza
on the way home it started to pour. Good thing Steve was driving. East Liberty Intersection.
