I was filling up the tank and a stink bug started crawling up the car window. Caught his climb with the iPhone and the reflection of the parked car and building make for an interesting perspective. At least to me. He is definitely a bit soft on the focus but I still liked the composition. Plus he looks about the size of the other car! BIG!

Early Morning Fill-Up
Gas dependent and running on E is no way to start the day en route to school. So I pulled into the Shell station on Baum Boulevard and watched the tank fill up at 3.95 a gallon- feeling a bit glum about the state of things…yup, I should have gotten the much needed gas the afternoon before the early morning rush.
but then I looked up and saw the UTZ snack truck making a delivery to the little convenient store inside and there was a light on inside the truck. The morning sky, the snack truck, the invitation to play the lottery and skip work altogether? The scene cheered me.
Shot it with the old iPhone 4, although I am seriously thinking I need that version 5, if for nothing else the improved camera!!
Novelty Architecture-Bedford PA- The Coffee Pot
I imagine this scene has been captured thousands and thousands of times by passersby like myself.
And if you enjoy looking at the Coffee Pot there are plenty more structures to read about here
Dunkle’s Gulf Station-Bedford, PA
This Gulf Station has been photographed thousands of times, but I was a tourist in Bedford, PA this past weekend and I joined the throngs and snapped a picture even though there was no blue sky or inhabitants. What I would have liked to photograph is Mr. Dunkle if he is available, have a conversation. Next trip. If you want to see other photos of the same spot check out this site
Feller’s Garage Castle Shannon PA
Not sure of the fate of this structure. I did find a nice photo that someone took a year ago. This is just mine as I waited at the red light, taken with the iPhone.
On the way to Munhall
There is a gas station at the corner, just before you drive down the hill and over the Homestead HighLevel Bridge. I photographed it at night while sitting at the red light. Steve was driving. Remember when they were called filling station? In Jersey they still pump your gas.
