A knitting friend, book club colleague and neighbor invited me for soup and this was dessert. A hearty winter lunch. I walked around the block in the snow. Most people had shoveled. It took twice as long to get there, though

Street Parking Space Savers- revisiting Snowmageddon 2010. Many people are experiencing more snow right now. So is it a Pittsburgh thing? You see all kinds of chairs reserving parking spaces all around the city after someone has shoveled out their space, planning to return to it, later.
I’ve seen a port-a-crib to reserve a parking space!
And here’s the update on our 2026 snow. Thursday the fourth day that school is cancelled.

We got the 14” of snow predicted and it’s severe cold!
Schools closed again tomorrow. The mayor has declared a State of Emergency for Pittsburgh. Many plows are broken and streets aren’t able to be cleared.
