Random Can – Guest Blog

My granddaughter Maura (12) texted me this random can of tomato sauce she saw in Sam’s Club on Thursday. I love that she noticed it, photographed it and shared it with me.

I’ve photographed out-of-place items in stores before and have been astonished at what people leave in odd spots.

Yes, It’s a Christmas Ornament

Right in the parking lot.

Two Ks Found in a Week

You know I’m always looking for signs

What do you call the object on the right?

Yes, it’s a lost pacifier In a parking lot. Someone had a long and perhaps loud ride home Unless they had a spare.

So there are many nicknames for a pacifier.

By what name do you call it?

It might depend where you live or perhaps a family special moniker.  (This photo is not intended to spark debate on whether pacifiers are good or bad.)

Lone Potato

Lone potato, curbside. Squirrel Hill, Saturday morning.

Found on Jackson Street

Wednesday afternoon I walked to a friend’s front porch where I was dropping something off. On the way back, I noticed this bright blue ballon and it’s red string, the green weed

I’d missed seeing the balloon the first time but there it was waiting for me on my way home.

Loved the colors.

Wonder what the story is.
