Little Library at the Bus Stop

I had to stop and get out of my car to photograph this new (to me) scene.

Little Libraries have been posted on the blog before -in the snow , one Laura found and one in Pittsburgh on Friendship Avenue

Here’s the one I saw today

And a bench to sit on and read while you wait for the bus

Highland Park

Urban Rainbow

Monday evening at N.Euclid Avenue and Bryant Street in Highland Park. Steve was driving. It was raining and the sun coming and going. You know a rainbow is somewhere. And there it is!

Fireworks on the Fourth

I had a nice birthday and finished up the day watching fireworks from the front porch. Right across the street, shot from the baseball field. A beautiful summer night with lightning bugs too.

A short video of fireworks across the street.

It was quite a display seen from my front porch

Highland Park in the Snow

If you look down into the woods, you can see the grave of the first settler of Highland Park- Alexander Negley (1734-1809)

I’d just driven Steve to work and I wanted to see my favorite tree in the snow, so I drove through the park on the way home.

My #perpetual_puppy_Airedale was along for the ride.
