While in the middle of a friend’s photo shoot of vintage clothing, her mother’s long haired dachshund started following my watch reflection and chased it all around. I’ve never seen a dog exhibit this behavior. Trying to capture it was spontaneous and difficult as the watch was on my left wrist and the camera in my right hand. No chance to focus. It was just happening. Stop action seemed the best way to try and show the motion. Min Pin Tigger makes a cameo appearance.Wish I had a real video to show it better.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Down
What does down mean to me? It’s something I prefer not to be.
I’m Down by the Beatles is a favorite
Down on the Corner by Creedence Clearwater Revival.
The Stars Look Down by Rush
Lots of songs with direction.
We all know plenty of people who try bring us down. One thing I know- I used to shoot a lot of single gloves and mittens on pavement, a baby shoe in the gutter, scratch-off lottery ticket, manhole covers, sidewalks that are stairs. Brides pushing the down elevator button to the lobby.
I used to hear,” I’m down with that.”
Here’s my response to the weekly photo challenge: down. Looking down at my granddaughter Anna as she’s playing in the grass at Aunt Linda and Uncle Frank’s house. I have her in focus in another image with the feet blurred but I selected this single shot for down. Original file not available so it’s a cropped screen shot from an online photo gallery I don’t use much anymore.
Here are the responses of fellow bloggers for this week’s challenge: down.
Living proof about the box it came in….

This looks set up but it is as it happened. The first shot a blur with his brother and this one the clearer image but Michael caught me with the camera catching him playing in the box the Lincoln Logs came in-
classic, cliche, you’ve heard it a hundred times but his mom alerted me to witness the occurrence. Loving playing in the BOX!
Later he and his dad built a log cabin and fence but it’s going to take quiet concentration and a day with less activity to master Lincoln Log building skills.
Little People®- 3 Generations
I never played with Fisher-Price Little People® as a child but I used to love to play with the FP garage with Mark in 1977. I can still hear that ding as he would crank the elevator. The wooden figure on the left is from the 70’s and belonged to my DIL. The one on the right is 2011. No one is going to choke on that girl!. Was in the basement playing with the grandchildren and saw these three figures in a bin. Stood them up on top of the toy shelf. Just a compare and contrast photo. With the good old iPhone. By the way I was at the Apple store and it was hopping, people outside in a queue with precious tickets to get a new iPhone. Just crazy. And I am not going to write about my excessive data and computer crash and some loss of photographs. Instead I will shoot more and be grateful I have the weddings I need to work -safe on the original cards, Phew. Trying to keep what is important in perspective. So you lose about 16,000 images? The backup on the external hard-drive did not do what it was supposed to do. It is not bad news from a doctor. I am sure there are many of you who can relate to loss of data. Or the simple playing with little toy figurines and using one’s imagination.

Emmett Kelly/ “Weary Willie” Clown
My sister thinks we got this hand puppet at the circus. It was before I was 5. Some people have a fear of clowns(coulrophobia)
There is an Emmett Kelly Museum in Sedan, Kansas -born there in 1898. You don’t hear the word “hobo” anymore.
