A kind of scavenger hunt for some of the toys that are on the list of the Toy Hall of Fame. Yes, there’s an actual museum in Rochester New York. The Strong National Museum of Play states “The National Toy Hall of Fame recognizes toys that have inspired creative play and enjoyed popularity over a sustained period. Each year, the hall inducts new honorees and displays examples in the Toy Halls of Fame gallery.”
One of the items is a Cardboard Box.
A bicycle and kite weren’t readily available and there was no Barbie on the premises.

Today’s mail brought the delivery of a package. Always fun to receive an unexpected gift. If you squeeze the body, you can hear the sheep bleating. You know how I love puppets. He’ll be a great addition to video calls with the grandchildren. Thanks JB for the ewe mail.

Henry and Josie anticipate Maura’s arrival, as she brings @perpetual_puppy_airedale (AKA Scout) into the house on Saturday afternoon.
My Pandemic pup(pet) has entertained the grandchildren virtually but Saturday they got to meet him in real life. He’s got an Instagram account and I’ve photographed him and posted. Maura said to me -when I had him on Face Time – let me see him run around on the floor, show me both your hands! He’s the best kind of pup for me, zero maintenance.
Four of the Grandkids, their mom and two real Airedales and were here this weekend for a quick 24 hour visit. I had not seen them in 3 months.
You miss the physical connection, the being together.
We’re into the third month of being apart.
