I was trying to get a photo of the three grandkids in 2005.
I let them press the shutter release button on the cable.
All three of them will be in high school this fall. ( Well, in a couple of weeks! )

The number I screen shot, caught my eye.
I shared the number with a friend, the number of my unread emails.
It’s pretty high, I thought. And all those ones! Yikes.
How does it feel to look at your own number of unread emails? What do you think when you look at mine?
(I just looked and it’s now an additional 41 since yesterday afternoon).

My Mother in 1918
My mother is standing in the white dress, back left. Her brother John on the right. Notice the cat pillows.
She’s holding a cat pillow that’s similar to one I sewed together as a pillow. I never noticed it in the photo album before. In fact, I think a reproduction cat pillow might be at my sisters home. Or it was.
