Unread Emails Number?

The number I screen shot, caught my eye.

I shared the number with a friend, the number of my unread emails.

It’s pretty high, I thought. And all those ones! Yikes.

How does it feel to look at your own number of unread emails? What do you think when you look at mine?

(I just looked and it’s now an additional 41 since yesterday afternoon).

Claims Low Radiation on the Monitor

The monitor inscribed with the claim Low Radiation! Hope so. This looks like it has had some serious usage.

Found on the sidewalk as I parked my car Saturday morning.

Do you have one of these in the basement or the back of a closet? Or maybe you have a printer that no longer prints?

An old HP Pavilion model, not sure the year

This is a team effort.  Blogging through a four year olds eyes. Could that be a stylus at the foot of the mat on the left?photo-19

I’m on the left and Maura asleep on my iPad  on the right.  You can see the computer hinged lid. Maybe an iPad, too.

(corrected by Maura, what is really happening in the picture she drew)

Here’s a photo I received from my DIL on Thursday.   My youngest granddaughter Maura (4) drew a picture.  There is another version where we have ears, and I mean EARS!!!   Maybe I’l lost that one, too.

When I visit in Ohio, I sleep on a  mat in Maura’s room. She gets her Hello Kitty Sleeping bag and camps out, too.

So she drew herself sleeping  on the right, while old Grandma(me) is next to her on the left,  BLOGGING on the computer!  She always says, “you can do the blog in my room.”

It is cool that everyone wants to contribute to the effort.  Thanks supportive Family!!

love,

How to Keep Four Children Entertained at the Motel

Well, three of them.

You know how I love to capture those candids.  When electronic devices are involved they’re in another place and pay no attention to me and my camera.  Shot in October 2009 but when I found it today it made me chuckle.

Washington Parting Shot

Mary suggested this one. The cherry with a tiny leaf still attached on it. Farewell Washington.  We live so far apart and it isn’t an easy trip to make often.  We miss David but feel fortunate to had such a loving and happy relaxed time together.  When you tell someone you are just back from Washington they ask if you made it to the exhibit at the Corcoran and then you have to explain it is Washington STATE.  Washington head silhouettes on all the road signs.  I will have to research the history of how the state got named.

Washington cherry on Mac.
Now it is computer and phone communication from WA to PA and NYC.
