The morning drive out to Ohio was gray skies and rain so it was good to have sun and blue skies in the late afternoon.
I received the loveliest email from a nice knitter from Texas whom I met in Norway.
We traveled together on the Arne and Carlos Knitting Cruise. She attached a photo of me on the deck of the M/S Finnmarken, shooting the Norwegian coastal vista with my phone. Norway is a beautiful country.
I didn’t even know she took it. Turns out she’d also checked out my blog site when she got home and saw the People at Work series from last July’s show.
So she titled it “Ruth at Work” Thanks Becky.

The Knitting Cruise ended Thursday morning and we took a bus to the Kirkenes Airport, dispersing to various destinations. I’m headed to Reykjavík via one night in Oslo. After supper I walked and walked around the city, realizing my time in Oslo is short.

Wimmer’s Weiners in Wahoo, Nebraska.
My Friend Joanne said Wimmer’s Wieners were voted Best Eats in Nebraska, in a book she read a few years back. We’re searching for the reference.
We walked around the Wahoo Market and spoke with a member of the local police force, inquiring about the best place to eat. Another shopper let me photograph her T-shirt, shook my hand, said come visit again. Everyone hospitable and nice.

A little manipulation goes a long way and I don’t do it often but Jo Bryant of Chronicles of Illusions blog shared the app link to Tiny Planet and I couldn’t resist. The app makes stereographic images of your iphone photos.
She said you need to have the right type of photo to begin with and the third photo is one I took the other day. The sun was out in the late afternoon. The sky was blue. I pulled over and took in Lewis Center Ohio. The light so warm on the field.

So if you have a little time (and it doesn’t take long at all) you might enjoy playing around with your photos and changing them into Tiny Planets. Right on your phone!
