Crosswalk Surprise Friendship Avenue in Bloomfield

Downright dangerous.
From my archives March 2013
I remember taking these photos as my sister and I walked down Fifth Avenue. Photographed with a Canon 5D. I shot 188 images in about 45 minutes, Here are a few. Too many I know but it was hard to choose.
Pedestrians on cell phones can get distracted and crossing the street while staring at your screen is risky. These pedestrians were easy to photograph cause they weren’t paying attention to me. Well, maybe one or two noticed.
You could write a phone conversation dialogue for the images.
Three different women on a cell.
or in this post- Pedestrians.
I’m going with definition one
synonyms: | walker, person on foot;
foot traffic

Krista Stevens at WordPress created the photo challenge this week.
I went to scan my archives for something that stood out and found plenty of pedestrians in them.
Cars in our city aren’t too courteous to pedestrians. There are parts of the world where you step into the crosswalk and the cars stop immediately allowing pedestrians to cross. Zagreb

One love- Weekly photo challenge

Silhouettes challenge was August 15th.
But look what I found this morning on the way to school. (And yes, I pulled to the side of the road)
I was behind a workman’s truck and saw the silhouette.
Pulled over to the curb, mindful of the time, knew I could wait a minute. Parking brake on, the hill’s steep.
The school bus
and then two students walking to our high school.
Turning onto Brownsville Road
School bus coming down the hill
I was hoping for some separation between the two but not this morning.
