Airedales Amplify Festiveness

Exuberant, energetic and humorous.

The dogs, that is! They were even excited there was a layer of snow outside.

How did we get their attention toward the lens for this photo?

My son put two dog treats on top of my head!

It worked.

Crazy fun.

you can see them eyeing those treats on my head. The kids thought it was pretty funny, too

(And not to forget the grandkids Jack Anna Maura and Michael). A merry Christmas Eve.

A new favorite for the end of 2017

Walnut trees along the Ohio River

I don’t see a lot of walnut trees in the city. These trees are at my friends’ home on Neville Island.

Illuminated but Not By The Dawn’s Early Light

A few years ago I got a nice shot of the family looking up at the fireworks. Thought I would try again to improve on it. Some of the shots are strangers Some family.

The canisters sure get launched quickly.  I tried to work fast.

Birds of a Feather

Birds of a feather, flock together. Waiting for the horses to drop some grain. My sister spotted these pigeons on a traffic light post.

No zoom lens on the camera so my sister who had found the birds lined up on the pole, walked me across 59th Street into the Park.  We were headed for the zoo.

Close-up  after we crossed the street- the second shot
