We were on a Zoom knitting meeting and the UPS truck pulled up in front of my house. Just as we were talking. Joanne ( in Florida) said go get the package! She had sent it.
I opened it up and discovered she’d sent me a colorful mug, filled with shortbread wrapped in the same color. So fun. Thank you dear friend.
The only problem is the photograph reads the Very Peri as blue but it Is NOT blue
She’s planning to knit with yarn in that color.
How do you feel about toast?
Although I’ve burned toast on occasion this Duolit Toaster does a magnificent job, really toasting the bread properly. A milestone birthday gift from my friend Vincie. It’s almost eighteen years ago, oh my. It has served me well and is still going strong. I should have polished it for the photo.
What a vehicle for butter, Toast is! How do you like your toast? Jam?Jelly? Honey? Cheese? Avocado?

Five years ago I received unexpected mail from quilter Colleen. Today I found it in my cloth napkin basket and pulled it out to set my hot lemonade and honey mug on top. Feeling festive! Added a couple of Nurnberger Lebkuchen. A hot drink helps when the temperature drops to single digits.
