City Snippets Puddle Study

Along Grant Street, downtown Pittsburgh, after being released from jury duty. You know how I like reflections.

I walked a few blocks to the train station to meet Steve who was picking me up.

There must have been a lot of rain while I was inside the courthouse all day.

Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Installation -NYC- via Joe and Jack- Guest Blog Photos

You remember the Father/Son blog followers and dear friends who guest blogged the scenes from Central Park in Fall and Winter?

Here is what dad Jack wrote

“Joey’s office is near Rockefeller Center. He sent these pictures of the Christmas Tree as it arrived. He said that some branches are removed making it bare in spots. They reattach the original branches and add branches from other trees. Who would have known? Not me for sure. I was impressed by the scaffolding and all. It is different so I thought you would enjoy it. I will send the finished product if Joe sends it to me. “

Weekly Photo Challenge: The World Through Your Eyes

The challenge of curves spoke to me immediately.

This week’s challenge the world through your eyes, did not.

But then I looked at the photo of my sister in NYC from the other night, the reflection of Freedom Tower (behind the buildings in the foreground) in her sunglasses as we sat along the Hudson River at Battery Park.  A literal interpretation.  It seems I set it up AFTER reading  the challenge today.
