We’re visiting my sister in the city.

Freedom Tower’s appearance transformed significantly when the rain stopped and the sun came out on the return trip to Manhattan.

We made it back to Mary’s apartment after a long travel day- caught a tail wind and the flight was just four and a half hours from Seattle.

Temperature and humidity demand adjustment.

We had a wonderful trip to Okanogan and Alaska but are glad to be home. I’ve one more leg on the train to Pittsburgh.imageupdate 11:14 AM

Here’s the view from my sister’s apartment.

Just minutes between the shots.

Reverse order save last one but blogging from phone and it seems too difficult to get them in chronological order now. 4-3-3-1-5

And getting ready for bed after a long day on the train I saw this view

Weekly Photo Challenge: The World Through Your Eyes

The challenge of curves spoke to me immediately.

This week’s challenge the world through your eyes, did not.

But then I looked at the photo of my sister in NYC from the other night, the reflection of Freedom Tower (behind the buildings in the foreground) in her sunglasses as we sat along the Hudson River at Battery Park.  A literal interpretation.  It seems I set it up AFTER reading  the challenge today.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Change

Change.

Have you ever tried to?

Change your mind about something or someone?

Change-the  only constant of our lives.

Oh, you changed your hair.

“You’ve got to change, baby”

Change trains.

I have a friend who can change the subject on a dime.

Many people don’t enjoy change.

I can change a diaper. Four quarters for a buck.  Switch directions in the car when necessary.  Change lanes.

But change?

Really truly change.   Change my ways.  Change my habits.  Change my thinking?

Lots of people are worrying about Climate Change.

Subtle change, drastic change.

Here are some suggested change illustrations-

Hot Dog Vendor checks his supply of change.

Architecture changes over time.

The window dresser changes the window.

Waiting for the red light to change.

And you can always count on the weather to change,

the seasons to change-

although sometimes the pace is agonizingly slow.

Thanks to everyone who sent good words for the milestone 1300th post.  Now what?  Can’t change it up now, so here’s  #1301.
