My Friend’s Geraniums in October

My friend Tookie grows these gorgeous geraniums on her front porch. The other day she was readying them for winter.

A few years ago I told her about the method that knit designers Arne and Carlos use to winter their geraniums. Here’s their video on How We Store our Geraniums in Winter

NYC and Ohio Finds

A day where my sister and daughter saw red.

I love that they added to the abandoned furniture collection with such bright colors. .

Mary saw this red couch in NYC
Laura took this pic in Columbus yesterday
Charlie wanted to photograph the pair of red chairs too.

Seasonal Delivery a Mystery

Steve took this photo in Pittsburgh today. The box was on the front porch when he got home from work.

I’m in Ohio visiting grandkids and a beautiful shipment of lucious Royal Riviera Pears from Harry and David arrived at my house. Oh my!

No enclosed card to let me know who the thoughtful sender is. I’m hoping I can get a clue by posting the photo Steve sent me.

I look forward to enjoying eating the juicy pears when I get home. What a lovely surprise. Thank you❤️

No luck

Crafton Public Library a Mini-Tour

Yesterday’s blogpost has been updated to show the Vixens of Halloween artwork. (Click link to see the pics)

And while I was there at the Crafton Public Library, I met Spike.

Spike the lizard looked content on his hammock, basking in the warmth of the light.
