Everyone gives bread, but not like a mother

Everyday there’s a different saying written on the chalkboard at La Prima Espresso Company in the Strip District. I stopped in to get a coffee on my way to Ohio last week. Their coffee is so good. I took a bag of beans and a bag of ground to my Ohio families.

Looking up

Last Monday morning, Laura, Roy snd I were shopping for baby gifts at the Pizazz Gift shop run by the Worthington Ohio Craft Guild (an Artists and Craftsmen’s Cooperative.) it’s the place to shop for unique handcrafted gifts.

This glass rotunda is in the center of the mall and the sun was out, the sky a beautiful blue not gray.

Geographical Center Guest Blog

The geographical center of Ohio- Centerburg. Granddaughter Maura was on the right side of the car in the back seat on the way to Kenyon College to watch Michael and Jack’s swim meet. Maura was able catch a pic the sign as we drove by. Mark said there’s an identical sign on the other side of town and he’d like to know where the specific coordinates (of the exact center of Ohio) are located! It’s the town where fictional character Homer Price is from if you ever read Robert McCloskey’s books. My sixth grade teacher read it aloud to us. I remember the donut machine.
