November 20, 1980 was a snowy morning. We left home a little after 8 AM. The hospital was barely a block away from our house.
I was told oooops baby isn’t in a good position so you could be here all day.
Guess you heard that declaration, got into a good position, then everything happened fast? Guess you decided you’d surprise us.
You were born at 10:10 AM.
My mom came out to help.
Looking at this photo of my mom holding you, I realize my mother (68) is just 4 years younger than I am now.
Love to you on your birthday.
Love, Ma

My friend Vincie suggested her cousin Gloria send me this unusual azalea blossom photo today. I can see why! It’s unique.
Two colors in a single blossom.
I looked up bicolor azaleas but they are not like this amazing blossom.
We’ve not had a hard frost yet and it’s been warm for November
If any of you gardeners have experienced this phenomenon, I hope you’ll comment below. Thanks

Happy 16th Birthday Maura Clare,
Good luck on your upcoming driver’s test. Since you already had six months of practice with your permit you will do well I know.
Thanks for coming to visit me.
Love you,
Froo

Friday morning,I was walking to my friend Tookie’s house to drop off a pompom maker. The little elf hats we were knitting for Xmas babies needed a little pompom. . I’d gotten an extra maker coat the clearance sale.
Iuccc CFC on the phone as I headed her way. She told me to look up the driveway and see the doe, resting in the upper yard.
I really had to look hard. The doe never blinked and I walked around taking these photos,
Thanks for the tip, Tookie!
If you can’t see the doe in photo 1 scroll down to see

Wednesday morning, I was on my way to Boston to visit friends. I met the loveliest couple on the airport bus and their seats on the plane were right in front of me.
They have a good friend who knits and turns out I already follow her on Instagram. Alice Dunn Smith of Birchtreeknitting.
They told me there was a brand new knitting store –Knit Tuck & Purl in Lexington Massachusetts.
Friday, my friends Linda and Eileen took me to the shop.
We met Laurie the owner and saw samples of Birchtreeknitting hat patterns knitted up (which we later bought on Ravelry ) and discovered there would be a hat making workshop at Knit Tuck & Purl
The designer is teaching a class at the store!
I bought MDK Botanica book, a skein of holiday sock yarn by Biscotte and Turkey Point protectors by Fox and Pine Designs.
Everything was lovely.
