Found in a Parking Lot

A poppy made by Disabled Veterans, was lying in a parking lot last Wednesday.

I picked it up and put it in the car. It felt out of season for the Poppy Sales and I don’t know how long it’s been lying there.

But I couldn’t leave it, abandoned.

Opposites Light and Heavy

Opposites

light and heavy. Two red balls in Ohio.

The snow has melted now and I’m back in the Burgh but thought these two pics illustrated light and heavy.

They’ve Got It Covered

They’ve got it covered….with Heinz History admission stickers. Wonder who peeled off the first one and stuck it on the pole?

By the way, Charlie opted to keep his sticker on his shirt. He did not add it to the collection.

I’m always looking for signs

As I got into my car at The Lakes parking lot, I saw this card by my foot.

The late afternoon light made the pavement and painted line come alive.  The business card appeared to float.

Do I put the knitting down and begin to quilt?

Thought I should identify whose card I found…

Found this Sign in the Parking Lot

Thought it was a great idea.

Drivers today are so impatient.

It’s good to know that someone in front of you is learning how to drive.

A woman came out of the store and said.”Why is she taking a picture of my car?”

I told her I wanted to remember her good idea for when my grandchildren are learning to drive. I assured her I didn’t take her license plate number.

She said the sign on the car really works. We had a nice conversation about it.

Perseverance

You see motivational posters with a single word illustrating a character trait underneath a corresponding photo.   The power of nature to grow in an inhospitable environment is always amazing to me.
