I’ve taken to a quick steamy fast boil with lid on the skillet instead of a rolling deep water boil. I read one recipe that said add lemon juice to the pot but I never have.


And what a storm it was.
Once the rain came, it was intense.
We got home safely and were glad.








Fortunately I have a friend who has an abundance of garden tomatoes.
My granddaughter (9) took the photos as I drove by. Couldn’t really slow down to get a better shot. I think she did pretty well.
