The Redbud is in Bloom for Easter

Eastern Redbud tree. It was a beautiful day today before the downpour of rain arrived Saturday night. Just look at that blue sky.

A friend planted the Redbud  in my backyard as a memorial to my parents after they’d passed. Thanks, Ginny.

It was my parents favorite type of tree. The way the pink blossoms emerge along the entire branch makes it a stand out amongst the flowering trees.

My friend Ginny planted this tree in my backyard as a memorial to my parents.  When Spring comes, despite the low temps tonight, the buds cluster and bloom all along the branches.

It is a most beautiful tree.

Soon the heart shaped leaves will appear.

Raindrops on Fall Leaves

raindrops on autumn lead

When I came home from school on Friday, I found the unraked leaves with raindrops on the undersides of some of them. I saw the orange tree leaves glowing like embers, with the water drops at their tips.

My driveway needs to be raked.

But if it were raked, I would have missed these jewels.

The heart shaped leaves are from the Eastern Redbud tree.
Here is an updated article from Happy DIY Home about the care for your Redbud trees.
