Kaleidoscope in Motion in the Children’s Garden

Kaleidoscope in Motion at Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens in Columbus Ohio. In the Children’s Garden.   A perfect day to play outside as it was sixty degrees.

“A kaleidoscope (/kəˈlaɪdəskoʊp/) is an optical instrument with two or more reflecting surfaces tilted to each other in an angle, so that one or more (parts of) objects on one end of the mirrors are seen as a regular symmetrical pattern when viewed from the other end, due to repeated reflection”  Wikipedia

Pittsburgh Signature Sandwich

There aren’t many places open on Sunday night, late. You’re headed home and stop in to get their #2 Best Seller -To Go. Vinegary Coleslaw and Fries right in between the thick slices of Italian bread.

Primanti Bros. In The Strip District

I took a few pictures while Steve was inside getting the sandwich.  We split one. It’s sufficient.

Caption for What’s on my Ceiling?

Not a UFO. It caught my eye. I was surprised to look up and see this on my ceiling. It wasn’t a plan. It was just there. And it’s was large.

A single Koi looks like two. At Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens.

St. Matthias Reflections

At the Winterfeld Market Platz. A vendor had a mirror for sale, lying down on the cobblestone path. St.Matthias was reflected in the glass. As I moved closer, I captured a second shot to include a snippet of tree.

Reflection at CMOA Last Day of 2018

Mary and I went to the Carnegie Museum of Art yesterday, the last day of 2018.

Here we are reflected in artist Dan Grahams Heart Pavilion sculpture.

Our weight appears to fluctuate depending on the curve of the mirror. Our legs reminiscent of Giacometti figures in the last shot. Even with all our holiday eating!

We’ve had a nice time together over the Christmas vacation.
