Pedestrian (s)
or in this post- Pedestrians.
I’m going with definition one
-
synonyms: walker, person on foot; foot traffic
Krista Stevens at WordPress created the photo challenge this week.
I went to scan my archives for something that stood out and found plenty of pedestrians in them.
Cars in our city aren’t too courteous to pedestrians. There are parts of the world where you step into the crosswalk and the cars stop immediately allowing pedestrians to cross.

Airedales and Baby on Easter Walk
Yesterday’s post it was formal portraits. Today it’s candids. Capturing the day with a few casual images.
A sunny Easter afternoon. We went for a walk around the neighborhood.
Michael and Jack had Airedale duty. Anna carried Charlie.
When we got back to the house the children hunted for hidden eggs in the backyard. Some of the eggs opened with a fortune cookie message inside ” A special day with Charlie.” “You pick what’s for supper” “You pick the family movie” “One day of no chores” “Two hours of Ipad time” and some eggs had dollar bills, quarters or dimes.

State of Mind – Weekly Photo Challenge
Ben Huberman of WordPress challenged bloggers to post an image that illustrated their State of mind.
We arrived in Philadelphia this afternoon.

Delancey Street cobblestones at dusk.
Walking where my parents walked when they lived in the city of brotherly love. 1971-1983
Below the Theater of the Living Arts on South Street. The scene where my dad pushed his grandson Mark in a stroller and a Philadelphia magazine photographer captured them-

This could come in handy during election year.
Seeing light on the other side of cascading water in our hotel lobby. Cloudy, blurred, fluid, relaxing to watch.

Liberty Avenue. Downtown Pittsburgh. Friday afternoon.
Bradford Pear Tree and Blossoms Reflection in a Puddle Downtown.
The rain stopped but the pavement was still wet and the lights reflected in it as it grew dark.
Pedestrians closed their umbrellas.
The Greyhound Bus Station, photographed through the windshield. I liked the blue and the sky.

Central Park Snow Scene via Joe in NYC
Here’s today’s guest blog-
This afternoon I received this photo from blog follower Jack. His son Joe took this “Central Park- South East corner…there is a small pond that is iced over and covered with snow…it looks really peaceful”
I wrote to Joe (who also follows the blog and he was happy to contribute today’s post- Thanks Joe!)
He gave me permission to share his picture. And thanks Jack for sending Joe’s Central Park Snow Scene.

Remember the 25,000 dollar Pyramid Game Show? A category is on the card and your partner lists all the things that are in that category. Things that Have Wheels? Things that you ride? Things that help you get around.
Family of Four Walking at Alum Creek Dam
Hard to see them in the first photo.
My daughter -in- law was driving and I was the passenger. Shot from a moving van. They are walking above the Alum Creek Reservoir.
Oh there they are!
