I had no idea that popcorn has been around as long as the following entry says–

Well when it happened as I went to shovel I was not wordless.
Last Thursday on our virtual knitting Zoom, my friend Joanne showed this lovely watercolor painting titled Comfort Food.
I had to smile cause I knew Ina Garten’s Modern Comfort Food cookbook was to arrive at Joanne’s house in Florida the very next day. I’d ordered it as a gift.

Henry and Josie anticipate Maura’s arrival, as she brings @perpetual_puppy_airedale (AKA Scout) into the house on Saturday afternoon.
My Pandemic pup(pet) has entertained the grandchildren virtually but Saturday they got to meet him in real life. He’s got an Instagram account and I’ve photographed him and posted. Maura said to me -when I had him on Face Time – let me see him run around on the floor, show me both your hands! He’s the best kind of pup for me, zero maintenance.
Four of the Grandkids, their mom and two real Airedales and were here this weekend for a quick 24 hour visit. I had not seen them in 3 months.

Has anyone asked what you’re doing? I read that during the pandemic, people are documenting their accomplishments on social media. Some are impressive- home improvement, organization, gourmet meals, stacks of books read,all sorts of things.
When someone asks me tomorrow what I did over the weekend, I’ll be able to proclaim this-
“I washed a stack of potholders today. And one dishcloth.”
