Under the kitchen sink!

One of my favorite photos of Mark, Matthew and Laura. Everyone laughing, having a good time.

How they decided to get in the cupboard I don’t know but looking at this picture always makes me happy. Scanner not working so photographed the photo.

Do you like the scent of lilacs?

I love the old fashioned look of lilacs in the white ironstone pitcher.

But do I like the scent of the bouquet in my house?

I like the scent of lilacs when they are outdoors on the bush, not in the confines of the house.
Reminded me of scent of Hyacinths at Easter.
Pretty intense.

Cecile Rowley Caven 1897-1957

One of my maternal grandmother’s sisters. My great Aunt. I found a portrait of her while I was cleaning out a box of papers. Married Morey Caven. I’m still trying to find more information.

Eastern Redbud Blossoms Against the Stormy Sky

This is the Eastern Redbud my friend G planted as a memorial to honor my mother and father. It has the loveliest pink blossoms along the branches. The leaves are heart shaped.

C is for Chocolate Covered Cherry

My friend brought a fancy box of chocolates when she came to dinner Saturday night. And they are delicious. The Betsy Ann Chocolates business is close to her home. Lucky us!

One of the pieces was a chocolate covered cherry (with the “c” on top) just as she advised me. I like to eat a chocolate covered cherry on occasion.

Do you?

Chocolate Covered cherries. Yes or no?
