Wash separately even after six years. My six word Saturday post.
These are handknit socks I made at least six years ago and they still turn the water pink every time.


When I was a kid, my mother called a red flannel nightgown that bled in the wash “a sinner”.

Teatime with fancy teabag and beaker.
The water’s boiling in the electric kettle. One fancy teabag waiting to be brewed into an inviting cup of fragrant tea. I let it steep.
Thank you dear friend for the lovely gift of fancy teabags. So elegant. And flavorful. Sipping tea and reflecting as you suggested. You encourage me always!

Steve and I met Vincie at the Penn Brewery parking lot and walked down Vinial Street to the Kaffeehaus on Chestnut Street.
My former photography teacher from Manchester Craftsmen’s Guild, Germaine Watkins, had a solo show of incredible photographs of Haiti. I bought the one of the gorgeous countryside that is right behind my head.

Spiralized squash starts taste of summer. My six word Saturday.
Laura got their CSA box (Community Supported Agriculture) this afternoon. Local Harvest of Columbus Ohio lists participating farms. She put the spiralizer to work on the summer squash. Charlie had asked for red sauce for dinner, rotini his favorite pasta shape.
